What is the best time to visit Morocco?

General overview;

Morocco is one of the main cities in North America. It receives millions of travellers every single year and considering the kind of landscape beauties, beaches and deserts along with the kind of activities which go along with these features, it is least bit of surprising. It is only second to Egypt in terms of being one of the best travel friendly places in North America. However there is an old saying that a country or a city looks great when one visits in at certain time of season. Though Morocco is a location which travellers can drop down, whenever they feel like, there are also some specific seasons when one would get the real beauty of the city.

So when is the best time to visit Morocco? The answers are coming in the stanzas which plummet.

Honestly speaking it all depends on what one plans to see or do in Morocco. If one plans to check out the main attractions namely Fes or Marrakech, then April- early part of June and also September –November are the ideal seasons for such activities. Some of the important tips are as follows:

The best time to visit Morocco:

Summer season: The place is quite hot in summer and so it is always best to skip places such as Fes or Marrakech or for that matter desert trekking trips. Instead one can visit Rabat, Tangier and Essaouira as these places are somewhat cooler and have cool sea breeze flowing through out. Another place which one can check out is the Atlas Mountain and enjoy some skiing.

The best time to enjoy the beaches and go surfing:

Morocco is said to have superb beaches and the best time would be to visit them in the summer seasons. The climate is just ideal for travellers to surf or water ski. One of the most common places visiting Essaouira or Agadir! They will find a nice cool breeze flowing through the place enabling travellers to enjoy their time to the fullest.

The best time to visit the Sahara Desert:

The Sahara Desert which is one of the hallmarks of the city is a great place to indulge in. The best place for travellers who desire to visit the Sahara Desert and engage in camel trekking is the early spring or fall season. Summers are bone dry and will easily prove to be discomforting. However in the spring season, the heat is relatively less and camel trekking the Sahara will prove to be comforting. The nights however can prove to be a bit chilly so it is extremely important that one take some blankets or jackets to counter the cold climate. March and April will provide travellers lots of options to witness sandstorms.

The best time for Morocco festivals:

Morocco is known to host a series of festivals all year round. The best time to come down to this part of the world June and July. Amazing festivals such as the Gnawa World music festival and the Fes Festival of world sacred music! Also the Ramadan is also a popular festival which travellers can tend to.
